There is a deduction on my paycheck, what does this mean?

Modified on Wed, 20 Mar at 2:54 PM

This can happen! But what does a deduction mean exactly? A deduction is actually an amount that needs to be repaid to JAM!. It is likely that you received an excess salary in the previous month, and now a portion of it needs to be repaid to JAM!.

This can be related to the following:

  • You were sick. Sick hours are paid at 95%.
  • A correction was made. For example, the client initially reported hours worked for you, but it turns out that those hours were unpaid.
  • You were overpaid in terms of hours.

If you have any questions about the deduction on your paycheck, please feel free to contact JAM! at 020-1881477 or email [email protected].
