To upload the front and back of your identification document during the registration process, please follow these steps:

Make sure you have a color copy or photo of the front and back of your passport or ID card ready.

Go to Step 5 of your onboarding process:

Step 5: Identity

Identification Details

  • Enter your nationality as stated on your ID document and indicate whether the nationality belongs to a country within the EEA.
  • For non-Dutch nationalities within and outside the EEA, it is mandatory to attach an official document that shows your Citizen Service Number (BSN). This can be an extract from the Personal Records Database, a letter from an official authority (tax authority, DUO), or a health insurance card.

ID Document

  • Upload a photo or copy of the front and back of your ID document. 

PLEASE NOTE: You can upload an ID card or passport; a driver's license is not valid. 

  • The document should be clearly legible, with no markings that render the information unreadable. 
  • It should be in color (not black and white), and all edges should be visible. 
  • The word 'copy' on the ID document is acceptable as long as all information is legible.
  • The ID document must be valid on the start date of your contract. If it is not, the ID document will not be accepted, so please ensure its validity.
  • Enter your document number.

For Dutch nationality:

Passport + ID card: The passport number is located to the right of your name under the heading 'document number'. A passport number consists of 9 characters. Please note that the letter 'O' does not appear in passport numbers, but the digit '0' does.

Enter the expiration date of your ID document.

Residence Permit

If you have a nationality outside the EEA, you are required to upload a photo or copy of the front and back of your residence permit.

  • The document should be clearly legible, with no markings that render the information unreadable.
  •  It should be in color (not black and white), and all edges should be visible. 
  • The word 'copy' on the identification document is acceptable as long as all information is legible.
  • The document must be valid on the start date of your contract. If it is not, the document will not be accepted, so please ensure its validity.
  • Enter the document number.
  • Enter the expiration date of the document.
