I have a wage garnishment, what does this mean?

Modified on Wed, 20 Mar at 4:04 PM

We have received a seizure notice from the bailiff.

A seizure notice is an official letter from the bailiff authorizing them to seize income. The bailiff also includes a copy of the judgment, ruling, or enforcement order (which was previously delivered to you).

As an employer, we are obligated to cooperate with the wage garnishment. We do this by providing information to the bailiff regarding your income.

Once the wage garnishment is in place, you will be notified by us.
